I'm also looking forward to my next project. I just made a few test transfers from my new pattern which I will stitch (hopefully) during the week of the move. I've already made an 'emergency creative kit' with a hoop, my new transfers, scissors, my Emily Martin sketchbook and a pencil. Still have to decide which floss to take with me.

This turned out beautiful! I like the idea of an "emergency creative kit", good luck with the move!
ReplyDeleteWow! This pillow case is beautiful. Best of luck with the move. I know how fun moving is and I think the craft kit is a fabulous idea. :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!! I love the pillow behind it too =).
ReplyDeleteI get a little manic when I'm towards the end of a long project too. In fact, last night I finished up something that felt like it would never be finished, but I kept plugging away because I didn't want to get up this a.m. and it not be completed! (I was embroidering cursive lettering, which takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r for me.)
I'm kinda like that too, while I am embroider, I like it to be nice and relaxing and take my time, but as soon as I realize I'm near the end, I try to pick up the pace so I can finish!
ReplyDeleteGlad I'm not the only one going a bit manic at the end of a project! :0
ReplyDeleteLove the pillow case!! Turned out so nice.
