Sunday stash # 10 Craft books

These are most of my craft books, and a few books I sometimes flick through for inspiration for my drawings. I think I used the Bend the Rules Sewing book the most of this bunch. Can't wait for Amy Karol's new book!

  1. A great stash! I think I have used Bend the Rules Sewing the most too. How do you like Sew What Skirts?

  4. No don't eat my crafty books, I've got bunch of old yellowy pocketbooks you can eat instead!
Kylie Bend the Rules sewing was my first sewingbook and I made lots of projects from it, it's awesome!
Steph, I do like the Sew What Skirt book but I used it mainly for inspiration and to learn more general stuff (how to get the right measurements, make darts etc) rather than doing whole projects from the book. But I rarely follow patterns all the way through so maybe it's just me...

  7. *drool* Nicole! I only just bought Simple Sewing (yet to pick my first project from it ... any suggestions?) and Bend the Rules. I was only yesterday just eyeing of the Denyse Schmidt quilting book but thought I'd be headed straight for the divorce courts if I bought another one so soon! Do you recommend it? (I could always buy it next month!)
