  1. My favourite Christmas decorations are old battered Santas from the 1970s - not retro, just genuinely old! They have been part of our Christmas for decades now so I love them even though they are on their last legs.

  4. my favorite ornaments are the ones from the 60s that have pinwheels inside and spin with the heat of the lights .. only the lights don't put off enough heat anymore. Love the tiger.

  5. That's a tough one! So many sentimental favorites. I'd have to choose a little wooden one that has a group of sledders, connected in a line. It's so old fashioned and sweet.

  7. My all-time favourite tree ornament is one which was my gran's, and then she gave it to my mum when she stopped bothering putting up a Christmas tree. It was a transparent red plastic ring and suspended inside was a shiny glass silver and red beetle! Just done a search and OH MY GOD THAT'S IT!! Here's the link: http://www.christmas4ever.com/item/1384.html I loved it because it was just so ODD!
My favourite ornament that I own is one that I bought from a charity shop a couple of years ago which came in a bag of assorted baubles. It's a glass one, shaped like a classic fly agaric toadstool. I like old glass baubles best I think, because they remind me of Christmases when I was little in the 70s. Here's a picture of it: http://www.flickr.com/photos/joey7/4193191538/

  10. The tiger is adorable! I have many favourites, all one's that were hand made by various artists and purchased at craft fairs. I think if I had to pick just one, it would be a flannel embroidered cat (this one: http://www.flickr.com/photos/beachedlibrarian/6470015555/)

  12. He's wonderful! I have several favourite ornaments and am struggling to narrow it down but I think I'll choose my glass angel that my brother/sister-in-law bought me a few years ago. I always ensure I hang her on a branch that's just above a light so the facets on the glass make little rainbows...
