Sunday Stash #39 Boy fabrics
This is fabric I bought to make a baby quilt for a friend of mine. She really likes orange and modern and hip prints and colours so I assume she will like these! Since I (sort of) still try to not buy too many fabrics I only bought some fat quarters of cute Laurie Wisbrun Urban Circus fabrics and a yard of Lizzy House's Castle Peeps fabric for the border. Maybe I will add one or two coordinating solids and hopefully there are some fabrics hiding in my stash that will coordinate with these fun fabrics!

Sunday Stash #38 A Fabric I had to buy
There haven't been many Sunday Stash posts lately! Mainly because I joined the Stash Pact 2011 group on Flickr which has made me much more conscious of my fabric buys. But sometimes you need fabric, to finish something you are working on for example. So I needed to buy some fabric and because I already was paying for the shipping I could not resist to add the Tammis Keefe Cat Fabric(by Michael Miller) to the lot. I also bought some solids and the pink dot fabric, which I thought would coordinate nicely with the Cat Fabric. I think the Red and the Pink fabric are a pretty good choice but I'm not sure about the Charcoal. The other fabrics were already in my stash and I think especially the Newspaper print would be awesome to use with the Tammis Keefe fabric.

Sunday Stash #37 Scraps wonderful scraps!
Recently I did two scrap-swaps. I love scraps and receiving an envelope full of unknown scrappy goodness makes me happy! One of the envelopes, put together by Chelley (thanks!) contained the fabrics you see in the photo. I think I get more excited about this than over a well coordinated fabric bundle. Are you a scrappy person too?
p.s. thank you for all the sweet comments on my pattern in progress!
p.s. p.s. I didn't get around to make a new header yet. My scanner refused to cooperate. I made two very sweet drawings for the new header though!

SundayStash #36 B&W fabrics
These are most of my Black and White Prints from my stash. Every now and then, but not often, I add something to the collection. I'm actually not sure if an all black and white quilt would be very nice. But I don't like the idea of adding another colour either. If anyone has some good ideas for these or examples of Black and White projects let me know! In the mean time I will just continue building my Black and White Stash. :)

Sunday Stash #35 Bliss
I only ordered a little bit of the Bliss fabrics recently. Just to see if I liked it enough to order more. I like them all but the 'little- squares-with-flowers' is an absolute winner as far as I am concerned. Could be great in combination with other fabrics as well I think!

Sunday Stash #34: new place to keep my stash in
The frame (see post below) wasn't the only thing I brought home from IKEA last week. This cupboard was on sale, apparently from a line that will be discontinued, and it's perfect for my fabric stash! The cupboard is still a bit of a mess and the plastic baskets clearly need to go and be replaced with prettier ones.
In other 'news': I'm still looking for a new sewing machine and I'm very interested in this Husqvarna Viking 835. It has an extended sewing surface which is one feature I'm especially looking for in a new machine. It will be great for quilting!

Sunday Stash#33 Summer in the City
Georgia sent me this lovely charm pack of Urban Chik's Summer in the City many moons ago. I was saving it for a special project which somehow has not come along...yet. But while I was browsing through my stash the other day it occurred to me that if I wanted to make a quilt with this charm pack I'd better buy some additional fat quarters. So I checked Etsy and Ebay but there isn't much Summer in the City around anymore! And the fabric that is for sale, sells for crazy prices. So I tried to find some matching fabrics in my stash et voila:
It think they match the colours of Summer in the City quite well, as for the prints ehm... maybe not so much. Maybe I should continue my search for more (affordable) Summer in the City fabric!

Sunday Stash #31 Far Far Away 2 & a sewing machine question
Last week a lovely bundle of fat quarters with some of the latest Heather Ross fabrics arrived. I think these three are my favourites: The Owl and Pussycat, Thumbelina and fabric featuring a Moon and Stars. I wonder why these Heather Ross fabrics are not made available in 'normal' quilters cotton instead of linen (this line) or double-gauze (Far Far Away one) but maybe that is just me.
Moving on to the Sewing Machine Question. In the near future I would like to 'upgrade' my sewing machine. Currently I have an electronic Husqvarna Huskystar E20. A beginners machine which did a fabulous job thus far but I think I want something a bit fancier now. I want to use it to make (simple) clothing, cushions and quilts and such. I would love it have a little more space between machine and needle to push those bulky quilts through.
Please let me know what machine you use and/or prefer! Also I'm slightly afraid of computerised sewing machines but maybe you can talk me out of that (or not). :)

Sunday stash #28 Cuckoo Clock
I didn't have to think long about which fabric I was going to feature on this weeks Sunday Stash. This piece of awesomeness was send to me by my sweet stitchy friend Georgia. The panel designed by Kristen Doran is called 'Cuckoo Clock' and I absolutely love it!

Sunday stash # 27 Mmmmm...
...I bought some of Denyse Schmidts Hope Valley fabrics a while ago. They took two months to arrive so I sort of forgot what I had ordered and now I' m not sure whether I love them or just like them. I'm a big fan of 30's inspired fabric designs so no problem there. But I think I would have liked these fabrics even more if the colours would have been just a tiny bit brighter. Maybe I should order some of the pinks or oranges too?
p.s. the photo of these fabrics isn't great, too much sunlight you know :) (yay, spring!)

Sunday stash #26 Darla + giveaway soon!
Well, maybe this can not technically be called a 'stash' anymore since I have already started cutting the fabrics to make a quilt for my youngest daughter. The majority of the fabric squares shown here are from Tanya Whelan's Darla collection (the red, pinks and greens). I've added a bit of Wendy Slotboom's Feathered Friends and a Heather Ross Far Far Away Blue Unicorn too to make this quilt a bit more fun for a 4 year old. :)
This Tuesday I will inform you all about the details of my Shop Birthday Giveaway. It's a really good one so be sure to check back later this week!

Sunday stash #22 Dots (and a bit about my Saturday too)
It was in inevitable that the flu would stop by our house too. Unfortunately it meant that the belated birthday party we had planned for Zoe had to be canceled as she was the one that fell ill yesterday. On top of that it rained the whole day Saturday and just as it was getting dark we had a power failure. : / It only lasted a couple of hours so it wasn't too bad, but still...
This morning me and Luna went for a walk (me)/ride (Luna) around the block because today is a beautiful and non-rainy Autumn day. If it was up to Luna she would take all the leafs home, but she settled for this collection of huge leafs.
Now moving on to the Sunday Stash. I'm showing you a collection of some of my dotty fabric this week. Every self-respecting stash should have some dots in it! The crinkly one beneath the properly ironed ones is not mine. I'm making 30 (!) coasters for flower pots for my daughters Montessori School with this fabric.
Last but not least I would like to share with you that from now on you can easily access (and bookmark) my blog with this address: blog.followthewhitebunny.com and my Etsy shop with this address: www.followthewhitebunny.com. I'm dreaming of opening my own little shop on the latter address but I will let you all know when (and if) it happens of course!

Sunday stash #20 Happy Garden :)
I can highly recommend these eco-responsible fabrics by Cloud9. This particular line is called 'My happy Garden' and you may remember I blogged about these recently.

Sunday stash #19 Sew cute!
I know I have shown these Alexander Henry fabrics (or at least some of them) before on this blog but they are so cute! Earlier this year (or was it last year? I can't remember) I could not resist an Ebay bargain and bought a whole lot of these. All are smaller pieces which would be perfect for a quilt-y kind of thing or even better a sewing machine cozy like Bethie made a little while ago!

Sunday stash # 17 American Retro
These are a few of the fabrics from Windham's American Retro I recently purchased. Today I'm showing the blue ones only but they really are all gorgeous! In my recent fabric purchases I'm trying to buy more fabric sets (that are designed to go well together) instead of just anything that takes my fancy. :)

Sunday stash # 15 Ribbons & trims
Here are a few ribbons from my stash. Among them are the ribbons I bought last week when I was in the tiny store in Amsterdam with the huge collection of trims, tassels etc. I also received a couple of extremely cute ribbons in swaps. I rarely use ribbons when I sew. Partly because I'm not sure what to do with them and also because I find it hard to part with some of them and would rather keep them safely in their glass jars. :)
What do you use your ribbons and trims for?
