New header and many half-finished projects

So what do you think of my new header? The size isn't quite right yet but other than that I'm very happy with it. I'm trying to get myself more acquainted with digital colouring and such, so I spend this morning making a new header using my own drawings.

I also could have tried to finish one (or two or three) of the many unfinished projects around here. Like my half-quilted Autumn Quilt or my tiny Jack and the Beanstalk embroidery (of an upcoming Fairy Tale pattern), or the 30 coasters for Luna's school, or the floor pillow I started 3 weeks ago which probably could be finished within an hour or so. Oh and there is also the Star Quilt to finish. I think I need to make a list and only allow myself to start something new once one of the listed projects is finished!

  1. I'm sure it feels overwhelming to have so many projects going at the same time, but I think it's good! You don't want to have to pull out new supplies when you can just go from project to project when creativity strikes! Can't wait to see what you finish next.

  2. I love your new banner! So professional looking! I would have no idea how to go about doing something like that.
My list of unfinished projects is rather long too...I'm trying not to think about it all. :-/

  3. I love your banner, I think it would also look good as an embroidery pattern, nice and simple lines...

  4. Wow you did a great job on new banner, too. I like the colors you used, as much as the cute design!

  5. Thanks all! I was thinking 'embroidery pattern' too when I was working on this. But then I think 'embroidery pattern' often with all kinds of things I see and draw. ;)

Yeah, I think "embroidery pattern" about a lot of things now too ;-).

  7. Oh man, does that sound like a good idea. Though I've finished a ton of stuff in the past two weeks, I never finished my boyfriends pillow. Embroidering on charcoal colored wool when I hadn't embroidered much in years... um, very discouraging. It's about 3/4 finished. :( I've already made a deal with myself not to buy another embroidery pattern/file until I've stitched out all the ones I have. lol. That'll take years; I have about 50/200 done so far. Man, that's not counting the hand stitch designs. I have way too many. O_o

BTW, I love the header. Your drawings are always awesome. You'll figure out the right size. I know it!

  8. If I had to stitch all the embroidery patterns I have before buying a new one it would take me years to finish! Not an option for me!
I've already adjusted the size of the header a bit but I'm not that capable when it comes to computer applications and programs.

  9. That is a fantastic banner, but then I am very prejudice about anything involving bunnies!
