Sunday Stash #34: new place to keep my stash in

The frame (see post below) wasn't the only thing I brought home from IKEA last week. This cupboard was on sale, apparently from a line that will be discontinued, and it's perfect for my fabric stash! The cupboard is still a bit of a mess and the plastic baskets clearly need to go and be replaced with prettier ones.

In other 'news': I'm still looking for a new sewing machine and I'm very interested in this Husqvarna Viking 835. It has an extended sewing surface which is one feature I'm especially looking for in a new machine. It will be great for quilting!

    what a wonderful cabinet, love the glass stores so all that beautiful fabric shows through! i'm in the market for a new sewing machine too.... i'm thinking of going with a janome as i've ruled out bernina. but i might poke around the viking website a bit....

    I think that's the machine I was looking at wen I was choosing mine (slightly different name maybe?) - very nice! It was a lot prettier than mine!

    Gorgeous cupboard. I love the glass doors that let you see all your pretty fabrics. Now you just need some castle peeps and early bird and you will be all set! ; )
